Absorbion is a pixel-art top-down slash-and-shoot game where you play as a little kitten. He must save his mom and rid the forest of evil creatures.

Waking up and stepping outside, the kitten realized everyone had disappeared. He decided to find his mom and dad. At the edge of the village, he saw his wounded father, who, with his dying breath, told him about his sword, lost in the forest. The kitten found his father's blade. Having inherited the sword, he set out to save his mom and avenge his father.

Along the way, he encounters not only common monsters but also various bosses. By defeating them, the kitten inherits their weapons and protection, becoming stronger.

The game jam's theme is reflected both in inheriting the father's sword and in the powers gained from defeated bosses in the game.

All characters are fictional. Any resemblance is coincidental. A kitten could indeed be born from a girl and a wolf :D

Absorbion — это пиксельный топ-даун слешер-шутер, в котором вы играете за маленького котенка. Ему предстоит спасти маму и избавить лес от нечисти.

Проснувшись и выйдя на улицу, котенок понял, что все исчезли. Он решил найти маму и папу. На краю деревни он увидел раненого отца, который, умирая, передал ему свой меч, утерянный в лесу. Котенок нашел отцовский клинок. Унаследовав меч, он отправился спасать маму и мстить за отца.

На пути ему встречаются не только обычная нечисть, но и разные боссы. Убивая их, котенок наследует их оружие и защиту, становясь сильнее.
